The word munkun comes from mapudungun, the language spoken by the Mapuche, an indigenous people of South America, and means to spread everywhere.
The Mapuche people (people of the earth) are characterized by their deep attachment to the land and nature. Ñuke Mapu (mother earth) is essential in their historical, political, social and cultural context. For them, land is not owned by any individual, but is the heritage of itrofill mongen, that is, of all forms of life.
A fulfilling future for our children
We want to contribute to the regeneration of the planet so that it becomes the best place for our children to develop. To achieve this we must change the way we do things. Change only happens if we are able to learn and that includes everyone. That's why we want to help people, companies and institutions spread actions that contribute to a better future.
